Students at Sadadeen are provided with many opportunities to develop academically, socially, emotionally and physically. The Australian Curriculum is the basis for all programming.
We have a range of programs to support student learning. Whole school approaches are Read Write Inc, Fresh Start, oral language programs, New Zealand maths, Arrernte and Social Emotional Learning.
Other programs on offer are Alice Can Dance, swimming, Bluearth and Polly Farmer Learning Club
Students are supported through their learning by a classroom assistant which enables class teachers to provide intense individual and small-group instruction to allow our learners to be successful.
Our Wellbeing and Inclusion team comprises Miss Pippa and Miss Tanya. The team is responsible for NCCD, intervention groups, and therapy support in collaboration with staff, families and students.
KITES
The KITES (Kids In Town Engaged In School) program is located at Sadadeen Primary School. This program is for kids from bush who are in town for a short time-frame.
Student Leaders
At the beginning of each year students vote for their student leaders. They are responsible for running assembly and organising other important events and projects within the school.
School Council and Parent involvement
Parents are always welcome to attend our School Council meetings. They are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the Month at 5:00 pm. Assemblies are held on even weeks at 9:00 am on Wednesdays and are always welcome in the classroom anytime.
